i have a 83 camaro with a 305 (like to change to a 400 sometime), and i want the loping idle, i know the 305 wont have a nice sound that i want...
my question is
what type of headers long? short? and brand?
i found a cam, comp cams thumpr, is this good?
and for exhaust im going to run true duels, what kind of exhaust should i use?

 

Welcome to TGO. "Best" is a loaded question. Check the stickies at the top of the page for more exhaust info. True duals will require some fab work, since our car weren't designed for them. The cons for duals may off-set any pros. Ask in General Tech about the cam.
