I need help with my headers.

Ok well I got a 1990 Z28 which has a 305 V8 and I need to take my headers off to change spark plugs because I cant get wrench back to do it. Any advice on taking the headers off so I dont screw up my exhaust system. Please help me out. Thank you if you do just any advice will do because ive never done exhaust work on any car.

Re: I need help with my headers.

Before deciding on removing the headers, did you try using one of the modified spark plug sockets? I was in the same situation until I got one of those sockets. The socket fit but not with the ratchet attached so I just turned the socket with a wrench. To see what socket I'm talking about, use the search feature and type in spark plug socket and click on 5_speed's post, which is the second one. Let us know if this works for you.
