Hooker 16767 help and ?'s

Ok I have an 89 camaro with a 5.7 and t-5. It has hooker shorty headers that are painted no egr stuff. Anyways the rest of the exhaust is pretty shot. I went to the exhaust shop and they said it needs new y-pipe and that the intermediate pipe going to the muffler is bad too. I know this is true I have also seen it. The y on there right now is really messed up and there is no cat. The shop said 400 for new y, cat, and main pipe. I was trying to see if I could do it cheaper and because I don't want the cat. The y's go for 250 and I was wondering if they are supposed to have the cat after so I would need an extension? Then I'd have to find a main pipe. I could go with the shop then get rid of the cat if I don't like it. Does anybody have pics with the idk if I have the hooker 2460 or the 2055 but they have emmissions stuff and mine don't have that.

I think they are 2460-1 because they look like they were ceramic coated and it has all fell off or they were just painted, but I have heard ceramic coating does come off over time.

The 2460's don't come with the AIR tubes and the 2055's do. The 2460's also have a 3 bolt flange while the 2055's have a ball and socket type flange at the end of the collector.
