Fully built LT1 swap, need suggestions
Hello everyone,
I have a 1992 Camaro RS with an LT1/T56 swap. Only trick part is the LT1 is fully built... Ported and polished LT4 heads, 245 degree cam at .577 lift, stage 3 clutch and 4.10 gears. Looking for around 500 horsepower and 11 second runs. I currently have shorty headers with 1 3/4" primaries and 3 inch pipe back to a hooker muffler. Should I go with maybe a 4 inch setup? Will the 3 inch hold me back that much? I'm not sure if I can fit longtubes because the shorties are already very close to the steering column. Any suggestions?
