Only thing holding me back :(!!!
Alright, so I'm getting my 350 rebuilt and it will be done this week, only problem is I can't find the right parts for my exhaust. I'm planning on using manifolds (I know I know I should be using headers but I had some shortys and they rubbed my frame so I thought it would be easier to use the manifolds but....) but I can't find the y-crossover pipe for the manifolds I can only find it for the headers. Can anyone suggest something for me or where I can look? Or am I screwed and should just find some headers that will work. I don't wanna use headers cuz they really sucked before and I'm afraid that even if I get some long headers or some that may be better quality that they will still rub or that I will have a problem mounting them on the block. PLEASE help... this is the only thing holding me back from getting my car done.....
Thanks

Re: Only thing holding me back :(!!!
what design header did you have that rubbed the frame? even the cheap flowtechs don't have rubbing issues, i'd say get some dyno don headers. more than likely if you were rubbing the frame you had worn out engine mounts, replace the mounts and try again. there was a company that sold the stock y pipe for manifolds i saw it in summit i believe the brand was pypes, but i still recommend to try headers with new motor mounts.
