Tip to remove manifolds?

Tip to remove manifolds?

I got a set of headers and I want to throw the old manufold. I just want your good advice how is the best way to not break those damn stud ? :P

put on a good lube - i use "break free" its for guns and the finest one you can get. spray it on, wait an hour or two and do it again. the stuff is so fine it will absorb into the metal - no im not kidding.
and dont put it on when the engine is hot.
then get up in the morning - spray it again and get your sockets out and start unscrewing.
