Single Piece Catback

Ok, so I've finally got all the parts for my entire 3" exhaust. I have a single piece Dynomax Catback, Hooker 2055's and Y pipe, and Catco 3" cat. My question is, has anyone been able to install a single piece catback without dropping the rear end? I know the hooker and flowmaster catbacks are in several pieces you can bolt together. I'd like to do this a home, but I'm unsure if I'll be able to.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Here is a pic:

Re: Single Piece Catback

Jack the car UP, UP, UP....
Unbolt the rear socks.....
Swing the rear end down....

And you might be able to snake the mid-pipe in from the rear, with the muffler section still attached.

Yeah, like Stephen said, I think if you can get the car high enough in the rear, it would be possible.

Re: Single Piece Catback

you could cut just as it starts to go up in front of axle, then put a stainless easy seal clamp on it . these clamps are made to butt two pipes of same diameter together

Re: Single Piece Catback

You could probably just remove the passenger tire, shock, and spring. Then snake the exhaust in.

Now thats good thinking! Except the lca and both upper and lower panhard would have to come out to put it in from the side.
