hooker 2055 question
I've been reading all the info here I can on headers for my car. (86 IROC, 350, t-5).
I've pretty much decided the 2055's are the best choice. I have a couple of questions.
I don't need the pollution control air tubes..what is the best way to eliminate them without screwing the ceramic coating?
Do I need angled boots for my wires?

I checked them out..I can't see where he cut the tubes off and they don't look like ceramic coated headers to me..they are pretty rusty..

Re: hooker 2055 question
I hopefully found my solution. checking on the price for the 2055hkr painted hearers.
This will solve a couple of problems.
1...I won't have to worry about screwing up the ceramic coating cutting the air tubes off.
2 I won't have to worry about voiding the warranty on the ceramic ones by cutting the tubes off and running them on my engine which isn't broken in yet.
3..I'll remove them next summer, do any tweaking I need to for improved flow and get them coated.
