I just got a whole new stainless exhaust put on with a magnaflow muffler and i left the parking lot and i couldnt even hear the exhaust and even while ideling you cant even hear it. Would a flowmaster 80 series be alot louder and aggressive sounding? im not to sure what to do because right now it sucks because the stock mufflers sounded alot better. Any suggestions?

 

I'm not a fan at all of flowmaster....sounds okay...but one of the worst performing mufflers on market.....my recommendation...hooker aerochamber or hooker maxflow....sound is great..flow is even better...and I know my aero chamber was on $67 through summit...cheaper than slowmaster....

 

I have a 3" magnaflow cat-back. I think it sounds great. It gets louder as it gets older/"wore in". I have a few clips if your interested.

I love the Hooker Max Flow. It has a nice Corvette sound to it. Makes your car sound like its revving to 8K when It's only at 6K.

Sorry back to topic. Braden, i think if you give the magna some time to break in it'll sound better. if you want loud get a cut-out like i did.

 

When I bought my GTA, the Magnaflow exhaust was only a month old. I actually didn't care for it much & intended to put a Flowmaster on.

After a month or so & not swapping it, it "woke up" and I love it now. At part throttle & cruise, it is there but not obnovious. WOT is another story though....
