Please help me with my cutout!
ok i have a 1991 5.7 350 all stock exhaust. it has two cats that go down into a y pipe to a 3 in downpipe. i want to buy a
cutout for it but i dont know what size to buy. ive been looking at ones that say it has an inside diameter of 3in. but i
dont know if the pipe on the car has a 3 in inside diameter or outside diameter. i dont want to buy a cutout with a ID of
3 in and the one on my car to have an ID of 3 in. please help

Stock and most tubing for exhaust is standard to be made in OD, meaning that an ID section will slip over your existing pipe. I don't know of a cutout that didn't have an ID at both ends, but either way that is what you should need to end up fitting what you have.
