So I've kinda hit a bump in trying to get my 85 T/A on the road this spring. I found the exhaust pipe from the cat to the muffler to be completely rotten. But the muffler, cat and everything else is still good. I just wanna get it together so I can get the car on the road and then I'll worry about getting a better performing exhaust later on.

The car has a stock 2.5 inch setup.....engine is a stock lg4 305.

I haven't had much luck sourcing a replacement pipe(new or used) but a friend offered his old stock one from his 4th gen LT1.....would it work on my car??

Any other advice??
