A.I.R. System partially removed!

I am 3 months into my first restoration project, a 1984 Z-28. I got this car in pieces from someone's garage. I am reassembling the engine and when I was checking out the exhaust manifolds I noted that the A.I.R piping was a twisted mess. The catalytic converter was previously removed and replaced with a straight piece of pipe. I cannot find the A.I.R. pump so I assume it is gone. I also found a triangular piece of aluminum cover an opening in the intake manifold just to the passenger side of the carburetor. I think all of these things are related. I live in Florida so there is no inspection or emissions testing. I would have to buy new A.I.R. piping since the old piping is beyond repair but don't think the rest of the system is there so this would be a waste of money. Any ideas?

I also have a 84 Z28 , The triangle plate next to the carb is a EGR block off plate. If you don't have all the A.I.R parts and don't need emisions I would let it go it is gonna cost you a bunch of money and doesn't make the car run better it acually makes it slower so I say screw it , if your gonna stay with the stock manifolds you can just cap off the holes that the A.I.R tubes connect to.

Dan, thanks for the reply. Since the EGR is blocked off, the pump is removed and I already removed the piping I guess all that is left is to plug the holes in the exhaust manifolds?
