Simple Question

Ok, so I bought an 80 series muffler from flowmaster a while back and am looking to put it on, the inlet and outlets are all 2.5", I took a digital vernier caliper reader to my factory exhaust and found out my inlet seems to be 2" and my outlets seem to be 2.5", this seems a bit wierd to me. I bought a piece of exhaust pipe that slides snugly into the inlets/outlets of the new muffler, so as far as outlets go i think im good, but what should I do about the factory 2" inlet into a 2.5" on the muffler? I didnt even think you could get an inlet only 2" on these cars. Please help, im bringing the car into the college to do it on wednesday.

Re: Simple Question

Well, I managed to get it all sorted out after, the car sounds great. I've heard complaints about how the 80 series flowmaster is too loud but IMO its not too loud not too quiet, sounds perfect, also the car seems to pull better in the mid (3000) RPM range a bit better which is something i did not expect. Anyways here are a few pics of the install.
