bubblies?

ok , so i have an exhaust leak . now my question is wher is it at ? could it be @ the haders or at the y pipe? know i read that an exhaust leak will make a car run rich " do to the oxygen sensor reading that there is more oxygen in the exhaust system" right or worng ? would the leak @ the y pipe make it run rich , or would it be a leak at the headers ? btw this is a stock 88 lo3

Re: bubblies?

The exhaust leak would have to be upstream of the O2 sensor to make you run rich.

Re: bubblies?

so it would be before the o2 sensor @ the point where headers meet heads , right? and since theres only one o2 sensor . an exhaust leak on the other header would not affect it right? or worng ?
