intermediate exhaust pipe?
i know this is a pretty simple question but whatever. i was wondering what i should get for the pipe that connects the muffler to the cat. aluminum is pretty cheap but i feel it wont last long living in new england(because i will be driving in the winter :/ ). i also dont want to break the bank. so if somebody could recommend what to get and where to get it (online) that would be great.

Re: intermediate exhaust pipe?
btw i have stock everything from engine to muffler. i think the muffler and tips are magnaflow performance. i say this because i know the tips r but im not sure about the muffler. i know its not stainless steel but it was definetly replaced recently because its lacking the normal rust. i would guess the pipe is 2 and a half but thats totally a guess. the tips are 3 and a half. if anyone wants to recommend what i should get for a y pipe that would help, but that'll happen later down the road.

Re: intermediate exhaust pipe?
hello to another MA 3rd genner. I had aluminized steel on my 89 for a few years without any issue, but our weather stinks for exhaust parts. If you can afford to go stainless, I would. Its no fun doing exhaust every 4-5 years if you're planning on keeping the car
most people upgrade the catback first to something around 3", followed by headers/y-pipe.
