Y-Pipe question
ok so i have hooker shortie headers on now and up until now i planned on getting this y pipe
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HOK-16767HKR/
i just looked at it again and saw that the outlet diameter is 2.5"
i was hoping of having 3" from headers to tail pipe.
would this cause much of a difference opposed to a 3" y pipe?
or should i just get it, then after the cat have 3" to the back.
or are there y pipes that i can get that are 3" all the way to the outlet? if so where can i get one.

Re: Y-Pipe question
3 inch y pipe is to big for 95% of the applications. A good 2.5 inch y pipe will flow more than enough for your 305. I have a 2.5 inch y pipe and I make 476 hp
