I have seen in a number of places, a cat-back stainless steel, quad tipped Borla exhaust system. It's approximately $1000 and has a lifetime/1 million mile warranty. It has a built in cut out so you can completely bypass the muffler if you'd like more sound. Is it nice? Does it sound good? What are some of your ratings?

Re: Borla Exhaust
the borla setups are really nice and can sounds really badass on a healthy engine. If you look around, you can usually find a better price, or a good second hand one for cheap.

Re: Borla Exhaust
It does not completely bypass the muffler. When the muffler builds up back pressure it will bypass until the pressure lessens. I love the way my stock 305 sounds with it. As a matter of fact I will even take the HP hit with my new engine to use it. I could install a true dual but it would not sound that damn good.

Re: Borla Exhaust
i'd prefer the GmmG to the borla tbh. but it does sound nice when tuned right. just in my opinion GmmG chambered exhaust is twice as good and 250$ cheaper.

i agree. I have a gmmg on my gta and everyone seems to like the sound. at wide open throttle it's a beast.

Re: Borla Exhaust
Hey I know I'm little new to the forum, but I happen to have a borla quad tip on my 88 Formula 350. It sounds pretty awesome. I think its a single 3" back to the split

I have an 85 trans am, over the summer when I was dropping in a new 350 I bought the borla exhaust on summit racing for around $750. It sounds amazing especially at WOT. 5 stars

Oh wow nice. I don't know where I saw the $1000 one but that's the one I saw and I'm liking that price a hell of a lot more.

Re: Borla Exhaust
No problem. Get it before it goes back up to $745 though.
