Ain't no '82-later passenger car you can say you got the 454 out of. In your case, no '83-later passenger car that came with a 454, so no "motor change" 454 for you.

It will fit in the Camaro, but some other platform's "smog legal" headers won't be valid in a 3rd gen!

And some other platform's BBC headers are almost certainly guaranteed not to fit the car.
