who has a tsp rumbler or an magnaflow!?
Ok i need help deciding on these to cat backs. Magnaflow or tsp rumbler.
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=195&catid=46
tsp rumbler- pros - cheaper buy nearly 100 bucks, i already got exhuast tips, sound close to magnaflows, less common then magnaflows, cons - unshure about shipping cost, not as well known, no dyno numbers, exhuast could rust easier.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-16829/
magnaflow- pros -cheaper then other places, love the polished look, proven to be powerfull (atleast 15hp/15tq), free shipping, cons - already got extra exhuast tips, more expensive, polished look requires upkeep.
Im not sure on what to do. would once a month underbody cleaning help keep the rumbler from rusting in oregons weather? What could i expect to pay for shipping of the rumbler? HELP! Also any (good) videos are welcomed of them. thank you!

Sounds like the extra $100 for the tips from TSP, puts the price the same at the Magnaflow with tips. In other words...With Magnaflow you HAVE TO spend the extra $199 on tips. With TSP you get a choice of tips or no tips.
TSP is a straight through bullet Magnaflow muffler. The Magnaflow cat back is a single in/dual out system.
Both kits give you dual exits out the back.
$236 TPS vs $464 Magnaflow...Or $335 (with tips) TPS vs $464 Magnaflow.
Is the SS worth the extra $$, where you live?

Re: who has a tsp rumbler or an magnaflow!?
When welding stainless, is the weld standard steel or stainless welds? If just standard, wouldn't the welds rust? I know you CAN stainless weld & polish the bead until it disappears, but who does that besides on custom headers or full blown show cars?
Single in/single out straight through Magnaflow vs single in/dual out Magnaflow.....I'd suspect the single in/single out straight through to be less restrictive/make more horsepower (not enough to be felt though, either way) to be made. But I also wouldn't really expect either to "make" or be a big restriction to a stock/mostly stock 305. I even doubt my TSP is any kind of restriction to my mostly stock 350.
In the end, I think it comes down to mostly choice. Straight through or crossflow sound.....Magnaflow/Flowmaster/Borla/etc. sound.
In the end, it is YOUR car. Which do YOU like better?
I have the TSP because that was what was put on my GTA, 1 month prior to me buying the GTA. I don't throw away perfectly good parts, even though I have thought about replacing the whole cat back with a side exit exhaust.
Not because it is bad/worn out/rusty/or in any way needs to be. Just after 5 years, I'm looking for a change.Lately, I've been able to make enough other changes to the car, to keep me happy & satisfied with the car. If you were closer, I might consider selling to you cheaper than the new price (obviously) & building my side exit exhaust.

As far as I can tell.....The Rumbler is steel, not stainless. Even though my pipes are still gray after 5 years & not rusty.

Before you buy a $460 catback, you can get the one from Bandit for $320. I know people want to keep it a secret, so keep it on the DL. I'd go Magnaflow, but once again, the choice is yours.
