Dunno what you mean by 'cme' but since this post is in the Exhaust section.....

I have a LS1 cat-back on mine, as do MANY, MANY, MANY others. Not much difference other than the hangers & connection to the catalytic converter.

cme = center mount exhaust

yeah its been done on a third gen, but you have to mod the trunk well for it to look right, otherwise the mufflers and pipes hang down below the rear bumper cover and it doesn't look all that great

Oh. I played with a couple of ideas for my GTA, that would definately require moving my license plate up like Camaro plates & some trunk & bumper cutting.....

Don't mean to hijack. But I ahve to ask...

Is there an adaptor for the swap? What has to be done to put a 3" cat back system on?

The guy I bought the GTA from had it put on, so I dunno the specifics of it, but matj1990 here on TGO did his in June '09, and here is his report.....

"barley anything only thing i find is that the kit ends in the tunnel right around the seatbelt bolt which leaves me about 2 1/2 foot or so to fill in since i had no cat and it was a hack job before anyway that was the hardest part if u had the correct pipe it would of been easy but of course i didnt have any and there was no where that i could get it the rest of the kit pretty much just bolted right up i was able to use the stock mounting plates on the rear sound i have headers no cat and then the rumbler with turn downs and she barks i dont think i would compare it to anything that was stock though clips coming tonight i promise"
