if you took the car in a open parking lot... it would change the sound level
the same effect with a woofer.. when set into a box!! it will reverberate it's sound

I agree, I wish there were more take offs. My friends chevelle is almost silent at idle, but when it takes off it's much louder.
No cats is not an opinion, wouldn't pass emissions.
I don't plan to get long tube headers and I'd like to stay in the $150 range or so.

Well that's why i thank living in a low income area so they don't have emissions regulations.... yet.

Hey I just got a 92 camaro rs and it has a crate 350 in it. I'm worried about emission testing. I live in ct. Does anyone no what I can do to pass it or is it impossible

I dont understand you guys that dont like the cammed v8 sound, and then you say you want to sound like a "muscle car". Some stock sounding v8 with glasspacks doesnt sound like a muscle car - it sounds like a 70s pulpwood truck with a rusted off exhaust pipe. If that's the sound you're going for at least be honest with yourself about it and say you want that pulpwood truck sound.

stock l98 with 3" catback and cutout open, no idea on brand of the muffler but when i had the cutout installed they said its just a flowmaster knockoff.
