Installed Hooker 2055's ditching AIR system?
Hi there..
I am almost done on my winter project on my 87 Camaro.
I have rebuilt the engine and transmission this winter.
Installed bigger cam and ported the heads.
Installed hooker 2055 headers and a Catco 9118 converter.
Now I have a big problem get the AIR system to fit.
Actually nothing fits even close and is taking up to much place in the engine room. I decided to remove the AIR system. Is it ok that I just blend the holes on the tubes that comes from the headers??...
Have anyone done this before on theese headers??
Mayby I did something stupid to buy those headers since I don't want to use the AIR system anymore....

I had them cut off and welded closed.

Ok...I have to be finished to 1.mai since it is a American Car show here in Norway that date. I will have to just blend them with a cap as for now and then cut them later and weld them...
