Does anyone make a Y pipe for Longtubes?
i wanna do longtubes on my 87 LT swap car but i wanna know whats involved before i tear my shortys off..do i need another crossmember?i know someone would make me a y pipe in a exhaust shop but id have to drive it there open headers..lol any feedback would be very helpful!

muffles makes one for hooker 2210's. thats the only one out there i know of, or have ever seen. Usually people just make their own.
FWIW, unless you are making crazy power, dont both with the headaches of LT headers, just get a good set of shorties, hooker 2055 and y-pipe, or if the buget is there, the best ones out there are the ones DynoDon here on tgo makes, and his y-pipe look pretty sweet too

i have hedman shortys and y pipe on there now but they dont work well at all with my LT oil pan the y pipe is right up against it and im getting all kinds of leaks and it sounds like crap lol

i dont know if the mufflex y works with LT headers anyway

Well the headers are for a thirdgen but they bolt up to the LT heads

here's how i did mine. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...to-single.html i bought mandrel bend header extensions from summit. it didn't cost much and was easy to install.
