Need some header install tips.

Hello,

I just purchased some Headman 68471's headers (shorty's with air tubes) from a member here on the boards. I need to keep the air set up to pass emissions. There going into my 86 IROC. I wanted to know if anyone here has installed these and how you did it. I've done some searching and there isn't a whole lot of info about the installation process.

Also should I buy a y-pipe to fit or have my buddy fab one? He is an expert w/exhaust, so I'm not worried of some POS hacking up my car. Which way would be cheaper/better?

Here's some pertinent info.

- 86 IROC Z28
- 700R4
- 355 cubes
- TPI
- Stock A/C system (not working)
- Single 3" mandrel bent cat back exhaust
- V belts

Thx,
Ted
