i know your new here so before the impatient members put in their .02 ill help you out. depending on budget you could do a full exhaust (headers, y pipe and catback). for the catback i would say the muffler doesnt really matter until you get to pushing some serious power so its all a personal preference on the sound of it. but a good rule of thumb would be to have it be 3" mandrel bent. that might be around 500 but dont quote me on that because ive personally never done any exhaust stuff, the PO put in a flowmaster 80 and i really like the sound of it. hope that helps

to get the best gains, you really should pickup some headers and y-pipe, a hog flow cat and a cat back. Alot of restriction in the stock setup are the manifolds and factory y pipe.
