Exhaust

I have a stock 1990 Camaro Rs and after 2 years I want to start fixing it up. I'm not talking about major modifications. I want to start off with some headers and an exhaust, but I just can't seem to find good ones. I wanted to know if any of you have done this and what you bought. I don't a lot of money right now so something not that expensive. Thanks for your help.

Re: Exhaust

The only choice you've got in California are Hooker 2055s.

Re: Exhaust

For a nice cat-back, I recommend the TSP Rumbler. That is what I have & love it.

Re: Exhaust

I'm still running stock manifolds & y-pipe, but since your in California, your options are restricted to the headers already pointed out, unless it is a track-only car, then your choices are wide open.

Re: Exhaust

I'm pretty sure Edelbrock and Magnaflow catbacks are 50 state legal, probably nearly every major manufacturer has something.

I've never known cat-backs to be restricted or requiring certification, since they are behind the cat & have no effect on emissions. So the TSP Rumbler I listed above would work, as would any other cat-back.

Yes, but LS1s sound way different than our engines & the KT1s are close, but not quite the same either.

Here is my Rumbler on my 350 TPI.....
