Will 89-92 headers fit my 87 ?
So I know they will fit the car but what is the difference ? Is the emissions tubing different? About to pick up a set of these for a great price but I wanted to make sure they will fit.
Some other info that might be handy , My car has a L98 , I can care less if the AIR is hooked up or not .
The link to the headers through jegs.

I am putting a set of those very ones on right now. Mine is a 92 and it says in the instructions that if the car is an 86 - 88 to use a plastic adapter and 5 " hose (supplied in the kit) to hook up the A.I.R. stuff. You should not have any issues.

IMO you can get a better header for about the same cost or cheaper.

The only fight I have had so far is with the dip stick location. Having to use a tubing bender to modify the dipstick for clearence. Also, as you probably already know, the bolts at the 7 & 8 exhaust ports are going to be hard to get at. Be sure to use a good quality soft copper or aluminum gasket and not the cheapo cardboard ones and you should never have to worry about them again. You will need a longer pigtail for the 02 sensor as well (supplied with the kit when bought new) so try and get it from the car you are getting the headers from. Btw, you can log onto Jegs or Summit websites and put the part number in and print off a set of instructions with a parts list. I think you will find them very helpful. If you don't have the part number, let me know and I will give you the part number off of my box.

The only other issue I have encountered was with my factory oil cooler lines. I had to "massage" one in order for the drivers side header to clear it.
