Cat Replacement
How do you know when to replace the cat in a car?
Long story made short, I've got an 89 Firebird with a sbc 305. It's got 300k+ km on it, and I'm pretty sure that it's still got the original cat in there. I know that cats will plug up over time, but I have no idea what symptoms it might show.

Re: Cat Replacement
Had Midas install standard replacement unit in my '82 for around $250. Breaths a lot better and has a little more snarl/burble now. Have only 111,000k on car,
