Dynomax dual exhaust (summit # wlk-89009)
Anyone ever use this kit with a tpi 350 with headers and t-5 transmission? Looking into a better system than my single 2.5", and the dual 2.25" seems like it should flow good.

I used this kit with a 355 TPI and a 700R4. I works pretty well, but you gotta make sure you get the right headers for it to bolt too. They suggest using thier headers and I did and It works great. If you go the route I did and use flowmaster mufflers or something other than the mufflers the suggest, it will require a little bit of work to make them fit in the stock spot. but overall it is nothing too difficult. When using series 40 flowmasters our cars sounds super mean with this exhuast. I say go for it.

Honestly the stock 5.7tpi shouldn't really need anymore than a single 2.5. You could free it up a bit with a headers, 3'' pipe, and new muffler. Anything more than that is overkill. If you needed more flow than that Ive always liked the 4'' mufflex kit, or true dual if your not worried about ground clearance.

i know this is an old thread but, i am looking at this kit for my car, is it a true dual kit? because looking at the pic it looks like it has both pipes running down the stock corridor and over the rear axle... i just want to make sure before i buy it.
thanks
