So my camaro needs a mid pipe and I was looking for one at autozone.com but when I do a search for mid pipe I get nothing. I was wondering what would the part be called?

 

i think you may be looking for the pipe from the manifolds to cat. converter . if so it is called a 'Y'pipe . good luck .

 

I know that I have a new y pipe but thanks anyway. Could it just be called the exhaust pipe?

 

I think I figured it out. I'm pretty sure it is this

 

Manifolds - Y pipe - cat converter - intermediate pipe - muffler - tail pipe(s)

Most of the time it's easiest to just go to http://www.walkerexhaust.com and look up your application in their online catalog. Most parts stores carry or can get Walker exhaust parts, including Summit Racing, Rock Auto, etc.

 

that looks like it goes from the cat to the muffler.
