You're buying the headers at the same time? I think they come with ball-and-socket flanges now, but it might be a good idea to call Jeg's and make sure they're going to send you something that matches.

For what its worth

For the 17478 model, the spec indicates ball & flange, which, if you have
good eyes or a magnifying glass, can be confirmed.

The 17470 model has the same basic flange configurations, the difference
being that ONE connector is a slip-in fit, allowing for adjustment.
And I can definitely attest to the benefit of such adjustment.
(I personally would weld the pipe in after final fit, but that's just me.)

Others can chime in here, but I wasn't able to find flat flange fittings
on y-pipes, unless it was a matched set header/y-pipe combo by the
same manufacturer. Maybe its a quality-control/cost-to-manufacture thing.
Other members have claimed to be able to get proper sealing with the
outer portion of ball-flange, against the flat flange. Obviously, a better,
thicker gasket would be a good idea.

Good luck.

Apeiron has it right. Are the headers you have ball and socket of flat gasket? You need to make sure they match or you just spent money then waited just to have to send them back and get the right one, plus shipping both times. I have the hedman 68470 with a flat gasket so I will need to use the 17470 y-pipe. 109.99 from summit.
MAKE SURE THEY MATCH.
