Headers

Just got my motor finished and nows the time for the exhaust. Currently there is nothing on the car i have to go from the headers back. I don't have to much to spend on this right now just need want to get it running for the spring. I was looking at these headers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-68460/ any one have any problems with them? They say they should fir without any modifications.

Re: Headers

Those are full length headers in your post. You will spend some money getting the rest of the exhaust fabbed up for those. There are quite a few exhaust kits available that will fit your car that cover a pretty wide price range. They will use the shorty style headers and you won't be sacrificing ground clearance like the full lengths will. I think Hooker has a full kit from headers to exhaust.

If you need "cheap" just for now, stay away from long tubes. Check outa set of shorty headers that come with a Y-pipe, will run $300ish. Then have a shop do a 3" cat-back for you, might run another $250 all the way out including the muffler and cat.
