Glasspack vs 10 series flowmaster

So i was just wondering which one would flow better im not really worried about sound.I currently have a flowtech purple hornie glasspack 2 1/4.My buddy has a 10 series flowmaster 1 chamber. He says get rid of that old 1970's bs.I can get a 10 series flowmaster for 30 bucks welded and everything.Just what to get some opinions on which one would flow better.Again i could careless about drone and stuff like that.

Flowmasters are one of the worst flowing exhausts out there. Ironic to their name i know but its true.

your buddy is an idiot, 70s stuff WORKS

He probably don't like oil can coils either, though they run better as expoy filled coil hold in heat but long as its "new" it must be better.

someone believes to much hype seen on sat afternoon 1/2hr commercials called hotrod TV.

Re: Glasspack vs 10 series flowmaster

my friend ran a single chamber flowmaster on a mufflex 4" kit and its one of the best sounding cars i've ever heard. Ran 10's on motor alone. Switched to a spintech and the sound is ok, but he didnt pick up in the 1/4 from what I recall. Most of the time he just takes the mufflers off at the track. Been that way for awhile now and it sounds even better. Incredible sound IMO. That motor just sounds good.

Re: Glasspack vs 10 series flowmaster

Go with a Dynomax Ultraflo. Or one of these http://www.youblisher.com/p/1967-Law...haust-Catalog/ go to page 12 of this catlog. The lawson insynerator maxflo. I bought one of these last month from amazon.com for around $30. They are built just like the dynomax, but they have a stainless mesh around the perforated tube to keep the glass from burning out. And they are alot less $.
