I am getting a new exhaust all the way through. I plan on theses headers:

With this y pipe:

And the magnaflow system:

My problem is that the headers have a 3" collector to the 3" y pipe, but the outlet of the y pipe is 2.5". The Magnaflow system says it has a 3" intermediate. Will the Magnaflow system work with this y pipe? It doesn't say what the inlet is so I am assuming it is 3"? If it won't fit does anyone know of a 3" y pipe that will fit these headers?

Any help I can get would be great and as soon as possible please!

 

you're forgetting the part that goes between the two - the cat! you will need a 2 1/2" to 3" adapter to mate up a 3" cat and you should be good to go

 

I thought the y-pipe had an offroad pipe for use with cat-less applications. Is this wrong? if so I guess I wouldn't mind just getting a cat with the two openings to save some headaches.
