difference between edelbrock tpi and tbi headers ?
anyone know what the difference is between the edelbrock tpi and tbi headers ?? i have a 86 iroc single cat. tpi car..headers are on a 88 firebird 305 tbi car that im looking at .. i believe the tpi headers are 68723 and i see summit list a edelbrock header for tbi cars as 68753 ..

I think the y pipe where they merge is bigger on the TPI models the TBI model was like 2.5 inches and I cut it off and made it 3. I didnt know they would fit otherwise I wouldhave ordered the TPI ones at that time.

The TBI header comes with a hot air tube on the left head for the air cleaner.
