trouble installing edelbrock shorties
I can't seem to find a way to get the driver's side header in from top or bottom and it is right against the steering column, haven't started the passenger side yet, recommendations?
Thanks

Loosen the motor mount bolts, put a board under the oil pan and jack it up a hair, it will slide right in.

Don't need to do that. Right in the instructions they say to slip the steering column apart at the bolt. I did both of mine from the top.

Ditto to the above. 15mm wrench and that column will slide down and away from the engine. I recommend removing the sparkplugs too.

Re: trouble installing edelbrock shorties
I bought mine used, so sadly no instructions, but I took that bolt out and it went right in, and the passenger side I took the fan temp out and it went in pretty easily, lost ALL of my coolant in the process, thanks to my slow hands lol, the steering colum is being a pain to put back together, but I'll figure it out, and Thanks for the responses to all of you!! =)
