Single 3 Inch to Dual Converter Y Pipe on 88 L98 IROC.......has anyone done?
Has anyone done this conversion? I tried to go from a stock dual cat y pipe to stock one 3 inch system on a 1992 B4C and it didn't fit using the dual cat manifolds. Just wanted to see what needs to modified before I tear into the car.

You're basically gonna need a custom pipe from the driver's side header to the other cat, and then y it back into the 3 inch catback. If your state's emissions laws allow it, I would convert to a single cat setup and call it a day. There is ZERO aftermarket support for the dual-cat setup.

Here's the one I was thinking of using.....definitely a little cheaper and I used one on a previous third gen.

Just not sure if it will fit. Didn't dual cat cars have a different hump in the floorpan?
