Good shorty headers for dual setup

I'm looking for some in the less than $200 range, I have the Summit ones right now. They're better than the stock manifold obviously, but how would they compare with some others?
A guy with came into my shop a few months ago with a really nice setup, and I want to do pretty much the same thing he did. Shorties into the muffler about halfway on each door, then exit out the sides just behind each door. He actually cut a slot for the rectangular chrome tips. (One day I'll try to get a picture of it on here). I don't really want to do anything like that right now, I just want it to be functional, so I'll probably just put turndowns coming out the mufflers.
