Powerstick, yea or nay

Hello folks, I wanted to get some input on what I am thinking of doing with my exhaust setup. Presently the Camaro has a Jegs or Summit dual catback. It is ok, but nowhere loud or aggressive enough. I have been thinking of adding a medium or long length Powerstick in place of the I-pipe and having it split and run dual tips out the rear, or possibly turn down a single outlet.

Those of you who have used or have the Powersticks, do you like them? I know they are loud. Do you enjoy them?

Specs on the car. 5.7 TPI, small cam, Hooker Shorties. There is NO cat and it has all 3in piping.

Once you have a powerstick you'll never own another muffler

Re: Powerstick, yea or nay

I loved my powerstick on a bolt on L98. Sounded good. Nice rumble at idle, made people think it was alot more powerful than it was.

I am thinking of ordering another for my 99 TA to replace the loudmouth 2 on it for now, until i go 3.5 or 4".

Also thought about adding the short ones to my twin turbo car but I think with the new setup, i'm gonna try quieting it down as much as I can to make it more stealthy. We shall see.

do most with these in the i-pipe, just run a single outlet or split it and run dual outlets?

I am also debating between the medium and long pipe as I have no cat and I believe the long powerstick will fit in my existing i-pipe.

I ran the medium in the i-pipe region. It fit well but not sure the long one would have worked. It was 25" overall length I think, 20" body. Gutted cat. Split over the axle with dual outlets on my car. Was awesome sounding. Not overally loud since it was a mild motor, but definately noticeable. Especially if you got on it.

I'm loving the idea of these things since they are dirt cheap and from what I have gathered, sound incredible
