Header choice

OK so i know this is probably a dumb question and been answered before but i cant seem to find what i need by searching around.. So here goes, i have an 84 z28 that has a 97 vortec 5.7 swapped in. Its been converted to carb and all that good stuff but it still has the stock manifolds on it. I would like to get a set of headers whether it be shorty or long tube. So my question is do i buy headers for a camaro with a 350 or do i buy headers for a vortec? I have read that the ports are different on the vortec and that regular 350 headers wouldn't work.. Any help is much appreciated thanks

Re: Header choice

You have been misinformed, Vortec's have the same port configuration as a regular 350.

PM me for details.
