how much should a shop charge me and what type should i get? Is this something i can do myself and save money?

I plan on running a carb'd mild 350 or a hot 305

Stock exhaust besides hedman headers. I do not know what type they are, and im trying to open it up as much as nessicary. I dont mind noise as long as theres a purpose
