Patriot Longtubes
I dreaded starting a new thread due to how many are floating around but I could not find any pertaining these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PTE-H8068-1/
Was wondering if anyone has installed them and ease of installation? Installing on a 305 paired to a T5...

Re: Patriot Longtubes
Wow I wonder what the deal with those is. A shame they're not 1.75 primaries... I like my Hedmans a lot so I dont have a need for them. But if I had a T5 I might consider those. $350 for ceramic coated headers? Sounds like a good deal to me. Now it's just a matter of how well they fit. Doesn't take much to improve on teh Hookers in that regard... but the hookers are 1.75 primaries which is a nice plus.

Check out mw66nova's youtube video at 43 seconds for a Hedman long tube T5 car. It can be modded to work, and with long tubes you'll need to fab up an exhaust anyway. I'd do something along those lines. Matt said he wouldnt recommend his routing unless you have solid motor mounts, but if you are willing to do that you'd get AMAZING ground clearance.

Re: Patriot Longtubes
I'm guessing shorties are pretty much direct fit like cast manifolds?

Re: Patriot Longtubes
Depends on what your definition of direct fit is. You will need a custom y-pipe or you need to buy shorties with a prefabricated y-pipe. There are several small things you will need to address. You may need new spark plug wires, have to figure out what to do with some of your serp belt braces, some bfh'ing here or there etc. It depends and it varies.

Hmm. I installed shorties on my Bronco with no issue, these third-gens are bastards! Haha, thanks for your help so far.
