Need a bit of advice here
Need a bit of advice here
I have an 87 Firebird with a 2.8L MPFI engine, and I want to make it sound mean, and I want it cheap too.
I know, bad combination. Cant really have both.
But, this is where yall come in. How can I get a loud, mean sounding car, but cheaply too?

I wish I had some recommendations but the V6 has no lope to speak of. You could change the exhaust to make it louder but it's still going to cost some money. Good luck.

You could straight pipe it, but I don't think you will get the sound you want. I might recommend just throwing a flowmaster on it and getting the loud sound, but you will miss the lope and perhaps tone.
I think you should just put a 350 in it
and have it sound like my Trans Am
