I really like the way this trans am sounds. I'm curious as to how you can your exhaust to sound like it.

Skip to 1:20 if you're impatient.

That T/A probably hadthe cat removed, the 69 'bird also has no cats, removing your cat woudl help. A set of long tubes would probably help too.
I'm also assuming since he's running cherry bombs he has true duals.

can't remove my cat, i'm not one to go against federal law here, but would a high flow cat/s aid in getting there?

Possibly. A big part of that exhaust's sound is the LS1 though, they have a very unique sound. If you can I'd attempt to get true duals with high flow cats, LTs and cherry bomb mufflers. That wouldn't be exact but i think it'd be close. But I could be wrong, I'm no exhaust expert and we don't know what exactly that T/A had besides cherry bombs

high flow cats definately help exhaust volume. I never been a fan of cherry bomb style mufflers and glass packs.... I've heard much better ls1's before.

IMO, glass packs don't have tone, they're just loud.

I like those chambered tube mufflers for loud and tone. GMMG on ls1's and even some heavily modded SBC's / LT1's sound great in my opinion.

Its 90% Gen I.... firing order is the same and internals are the same so it should sound the same.
