Need straight forward experienced input.
ok, so to get some crap out of the way,
DO NOT:
tell me to search/look up this info
give me your opinion if you've never done this before
THANKS!
Now, what I want to know, I bought a set of hedman 68460 headers from a member on here. (also came with the true duels and flowmasters on the end that dump before the rear.) I asked him how he put them on and he said that he had the engine out of the car and dropped it down with someone holding the headers in place. I honestly don't plan on doing that, so I've looked into (on here) how others did it and how hard it would be. I asked the member if he had any ideas how I should do it and he said I would probably have to pull the starter and jack up each side then I'd probably be able to slide them up from the bottom. How close to feasible is this? will I run into any other issues? I have a 85 SC with completely stock engine except for Chevrolet valve covers and edelbrock intake. Also I sand blasted them and was going to hi-temp spray them but don't have an industrial oven, can I just do it in my house oven?
Any and ALL info will be appreciated. Also if I have any more Q's (which I'm sure I will) I will be sure to post

You can use the high temp paint and cook them on the car, like the instructions suggest on the back of the can. I actually have the same headers, but waiting for warm weather to put them on. When you get it all hooked up pics and info would be awesome.

Re: Need straight forward experienced input.
use the stage 8 locking header fasteners go on summit and find them and the bolts. easiest way is to undo the motor mounts and jack it up a hair...still a pain though..hopefully he dented the driver side a little so it clears the k member
