lt1 swap headers
can anyone direct me to some Ca smog legal shorty D-port headers that will fit a thirdgen? i already bought some ones from pacesetter and they contact the frame, before i start cutting them i just want to know if anyone knows of some, that will definately fit a thirdgen with an lt1...

A lot of LT1 guys are running their normal 350 exhaust on LT1's. The only concern is the D-port thing.
Are those headers for a thirdgen or a fourthgen? If they're a thirdgen header then I would assume you already had them, and now they dont fit. Try swapping the engine mount clamshells from side to side to see if that helps if that's the case.

Got mine from Dyno Don. They look great and have the O2 sensor bungs already installed in both sides. 3" Stainless Y-pipe too. He gets great reviews on his headers.
