What headers, your other thread is talking about flowmaster mufflers? I have flowtech headers (headers and y-pipe are about $220 for both) Great improvement in sound, but I also have 3" flowmaster exhaust.

I have Hooker super comp ceramic LT's on mine they fit great. Only downfall is having to pull the motor for install even with smooth firewall. They wrap the lower CA's tight. I'm completely satisfied.
Headers flow better than the log style cast iron manifolds. Because each cylinder has its own exhaust port. Further headers can offer a small scavaging effect to help pull out burnt gases for better efficiency. Side effect, good or bad is a slightly noisier exhaust note and higher under hood temps, but some coats help negate this. Generally speaking a good upgrade.
Do you guys recommend any headers that are good prices but then again I dont wanna spend $1000's of dollars. I just need something moderate that will give me good HP gains and economy. Can you supply a link to them if you can...thanks!

Old thread but info is still relevant, have to research yourself for current prices.
