i have a 1984 camaro z28 that has a exhaust leak in the engine bay, once revved up it will start smoking. the question i have is "is there a exhaust manifold gasket on this car?" ive seen on here people saying there is no gasket on a thirdgen and some say there is, so who better to ask then everyone lol

 

i got them on mine, replaced too weeks ago, pain to do but i dont know of any that doesn't have them

people reply that there is no exhaust manifold gasket on a stock manifold, some say they had it, others said the bolts just came loose and that was there problem

I know there's no gaskets on the EFE valve, which is silly at best. If you're talking about the actual stock manifold gaskets, I can't remember. I'd put a set on anyway if they were leaking...just M.O.
