I just ordered Stainless Works 82-92 sbc Headers. Headers are backordered until july 2nd. In the mean while've been trying to find out will these headers work with my new tunnel mounted torque arm? I've read old threads on here that they don't work with the spohn transmission mount. I called stainless works and they rep said that they should work. Should and definitely are two different things. Has anyone had experience with these headers?

 

Your crossmember is what you really have to worry about, do you have a double hump one or just using stock?

 

no i dont have a double hump crossmember.

 

I would recomend a double hump x-member for sure. I have something simular to what you wanna run but not tunnel mounted. Its a BMR extreme torque arm. You get an idea tho of how everything looks

 

Thanks for the help. Guess ill sell this torque arm and switch back to a transmission mount torque arm.
