Headers and Elbow Woes

I have Hooker 2460s and a pair of glasspacks on the way. I want to run the headers straight to the glasspacks. The collectors on the headers point at downward angles so I'm thinking of using exhaust elbows. I just don't know what angles I need. It would also be nice if the elbows had 3 bolt flanges on either end as the headers and the glasspacks both have them. Is there anything available or would I need to get something fabricated? Or is there a better plan of attack?

I have 2460s and basically came down at a 90 degree angle.

You can buy exhaust flanges and weld them to the ends of the pipe.

Here is a vid of what mine looks like if it will help you out any.

Is that a 45 degree pipe coming off of the passenger side collector?

I'm gonna call around today and try to get a few qoutes on how much it would be to weld up my exhaust. What should I expect to pay if I supply all the parts? I plan on running the exhaust to just in front of the rear wheels. Similar to what you see in post #20 in the dual exhaust picture collection.

If thats the case then it shouldn't cost that much at all. Just two 90 degree angles from the collector and sending them straight back wont be to hard for an exhaust shop to do. Hope you don't have to worry about catalytic converters or anything like that.

Re: Headers and Elbow Woes

I'm not running any cats. I'm installing the headers today. The rest of the exhaust will follow once I get paid again. Thanks for the help.
